Known in the wellness community as “The Bridge,” Vincent Pedre M.D. approaches healing by bridging the strengths of both Eastern and Western methodology.  Dr. Pedre is a Board-Certified Internist, also certified in Functional Medicine, Medical Acupuncture, and yoga.  His book, Happy Gut®, The Cleansing Program to Help You Lose Weight, Gain Energy and Eliminate Pain, featuring his proprietary Gut C.A.R.E.® Program, has been the path to healing and weight loss for thousands. Dr. Pedre’s experience through his own self-healing journey resulted in his unique approach, balancing diagnosis, diet, movement, and mindfulness for ultimate gut health and its relationship to overall health and well-being.

Often on TV for medical topics, Dr. Pedre has appeared on Dr Oz; Good Morning America, Fox News, The Martha Stewart Show, and The Early Show, SiriusXM Doctor Radio, and Healthy Living on ABC News.  He has been a writer for the Food and Health blog for Ecomii, a natural health and living website, and now writes a series for MindBodyGreen—one of the most popular health blogs on the web. Dr. Pedre is the Medical Director of Pedre Integrative Health, a private practice based in New York City since 2004, and President of Dr. Pedre Wellness, a growing wellness platform, offering health-enhancing programs, along with informative social media and lifestyle products, such as dietary supplements, books and weight loss programs.

As an Internist, Dr. Pedre received a B.A. in Biology with Distinction, graduating Phi Beta Kappa from Cornell University in 1995.  He attained his M.D. under a scholarship awarded for his achievements as an undergraduate from the Miller School of Medicine in 1999.  Dr. Pedre completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 2002, where he is voluntary faculty and Clinical Instructor in Medicine.
