In 2016, ICF conducted a study, surveying 15,380 coaches from 137 countries to gather coaching revenue data and other industry information. According to survey results,

the average certified Life Coach salary was $51,000.

The income figures reported by ICF are based exclusively on earnings from coaching services, but a second source reports that annual Life Coach salaries can vary, ranging anywhere from $26,781 to over $211,000. In the U.S., the median hourly rate for a Life Coach is $33.78, but that figure can vary drastically as well.
